This is my last report for the season and thank you for a successful 2004 season. I look forward in fishing with you in the spring of 2005 and I'm currently taking reservations. Happy Holidays! . 12-4-04- Jamaica Bay: School size bass up to 10 lbs continue to please with fish on every cast using half/half wht/blue and shad tails for the spin fisherman.
11-24-04- Raritan Bay: Plenty of school size bass up to 8lbs, Half/ half chart/wht & Blue/wht flies worked well while shad tails blue, white & chartreuse worked for the spin fisherman
11-19-04- Raritan Bay: We had Big Bass up to 51.1lbs this week when we found A school of bunker that were being harassed by big fish , we tried to get them on artificials with no luck so we switched to live lining and bingo. There are plenty of bass 24-30in. blitzing bait for hours. Clousers and deceivers were working and plugs, plastic shads and Buck Tails for the spin fisherman. I have choice dates available, don't miss out!
11-15-04- Raritan Bay: The Bluefish are gone and it's all Bass! The Bass have turned on with blitzes lasting for hours with as many as 30+ fish up to 15 lbs. Metal jigs and clouser minnow flies were the ticket . This is the beginning and will get better.
11-1-04- Raritan Bay: Major Bluefish blitzes with Blues up to 9lbs with bass up to 20 lbs. Metal jigs and clouser minnow flies were the ticket . The major fall Bass blitze is yet to come once the weather cools down and the bluefish leave it will bust wide open. 10-30-04- Raritan Bay: Bluefish are the mainstay with fish up to 9lbs blitzing peanut Bunker. Half/half Clousers and Deceivers chartruese/white and blue/white have been working.
10-29-04 NY Bight: Blitzing schools of bluefish with small bass mixed in has been providing great plugging and jigging opportunities.
10-11-04- NY Bight: False Albacore are still here! and were mixed in with major Bluefish blitzes. Bluefish up to 9lbs have been on a rampage blitzing peanut Bunker for hours. Any fly , plug or Jig will due. The Fall season is shaping up the Bass should turn on any day now
10-3-04- NY Bight: False Albacore continue to please and will continue to be here for the next 2 maybe 3 weeks so this is your last chance to hook up with these Speedsters.
9-26-04 NY Bight: Blue fishing is unbelievable! with fish 3-9lbs Blitzing peanut bunker for hours. Half/half clousers and crease flies are the ticket , spin fisherman using Popping plugs and diamond jigs. False Albacore slowed down due to dirty water conditions but should bounce back when it clears. They have been very eager to take epoxy flies , olive or chartreuse and small tins for the spin fisherman. 9-23-04 NY Bight: Big bluefish up to 12lbs have been blitzing peanut bunker, Half/half clousers and crease flies are the ticket , spin fisherman using Popping plugs and diamond jigs. Also Stripped Bass fishing is starting to pick up with Bass up to 10 lbs taking Half/half clousers and spin fisherman spin fisherman using Popping plugs and buck tail jigs.

9-03-04 NY Bight: False Albacore fishing has been top notch with school of fish up to 8lbs breaking water and providing excellent opportunities to hook up. Bluefish up to 9lbs are also available.

Plenty
of bluefish in the 3-8 lb size, they are blitzing bay anchovies and are
providing excellent top water fishing using
poppers and crease flies. If you are patient enough to fish underneath the
school there are weakfish up to 9lbs.Also If you fish structure you can get bass up to 8lbs.
The Albacore should be here soon,

8-11-04 Raritan Bay: Bluefish
continue to please, taking poppers and crease flies on top, mixed in with the
school are Spanish mackerel. The Spaniards are taking small deceivers tied on #2
& #1 hook size with silver flash. Bass fishing is a pick fishing
structure and rips.
8-6-04 Raritan Bay: Bluefish are providing great top water action on plugs and flies, Weakfish up to 9lbs are under the Bluefish clousers and buck tails are the ticket. Striped bass up to 16 lbs are available early mornings and late afternoon.
